Narrative, Descriptive, and Expository

PARAGRAPH NARRATIVE

A narrative paragraph tells a story. Narrative paragraphs are a lot of fun to write. Here you can tell your reader a story from beginning to end. You don't have to imagine anything out of the ordinary - only tell the story, tell what happened. This alone usually allows the nervous writer to stop worrying about generating ideas, and to concentrate on organizing the events in the story being told.

Example:
Avatar the legend of Aang

Many years ago, there was a story which told about a man who has 4 elements. Those are element of fire, element of earth, element of water, and element of air. This man was called Aang. Before he knew that he was an avatar who could balance the elements, he was just a child who just controlled the element of air, and he lived in air temple. After he was informed by elders that he is an avatar, he stressed and he fuzzed from the air temple with Appa, but on the way he met a storm. He sank in the sea with Appa, but he made a ball of air around his body. The Ball became frozen, so he trapped in an air ball in the sea. After 1000 years, he was saved by tribal water Katara and Sakka who help him to study about 4 elements. After he could control the 4 element, he defeated the king of fire who wanted to control the world. After king of fire was defeated finally the 4 elements were peace.

PARAGRAPH DESCRIPTIVE

Paragraph descriptive is used to describe what something looks like. For example you might need to describe a city for essay about life abroad, the equipment in an experiment for a laboratory report, or person’s appearance for essay about that person.

Example:
GP IKIP PGRI SMG
In my view, GP IKIP is the best than other building in IKIP. In GP we can look other building from GP. As we know GP is high building which we can go up with lift. There are many class rooms in GP, in each class room there is a projector, a screen, and a computer. AC also available in GP, there is a free hotspot which can be accessed by students in every floor. In fourth floor there is an edutop fm radio and language lab. In the top of floor there is a big auditorium but in under of building there is a parking area which consists of two floors.

PARAGRAPH EXPOSITORY
Expository is to explain something to the reader.

Example:
